Introduction
With the ever increasing resolution of monitors available today, it is possible to see an issue with the VCS menu font appearing smaller than normal. This is most often seen on 4K monitors, and is related to the way in which Java scales the client.
Steps To Resolve
- Exit out of the VCS Client
- Open up your PC’s file explorer, and navigate to: “C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.x.x_xxx\bin”
- Right click on the “Java.exe” file and select "Properties" from the drop down
- Select the "Compatibility" Tab
- Click on the "Change High DPI Settings" option
- Check the box next to "Override high DPI scaling behavior"
- Click the dropdown list below that setting and select "System"
- Click "OK", and then click "Apply" to change the setting.
- Start the VCS program and log in
